Founded in 2000, Mahalakshmi Multispeciality Hospital began humbly as a small clinic with just 2–3 beds and a single ultrasound machine behind the Ulundurpet bus stand. As our patient base grew, we moved to a larger building opposite the Government Hospital. There, we expanded to 50 beds and introduced services such as laparoscopy, endoscopy, a labor ward, and a fully equipped operating theatre.
Over time, we evolved into a comprehensive multispeciality hospital, offering care in neurology, orthopaedics, paediatrics, ENT, cardiology, physiotherapy, cosmetology, and more. We were the first in our region to introduce the EATEL ultrasound and a Siemens 32-slice CT scanner, catering to patients within a 40–50 km radius.
In December 2023, we upgraded again — becoming a 50-bed approved facility. Our modern infrastructure now includes advanced operating theatres, a C-ARM system, state-of-the-art GE ultrasound, 24/7 emergency services, ambulance, pharmacy, and digital diagnostics.
With more than 10,000 hysterectomies, 5,000+ deliveries, and Advanced fertility treatments, we have truly transformed healthcare access in our rural community. Today, Mahalakshmi Hospital is a symbol of trust, quality, and medical excellence in Ulundurpet.
