Founded in 2000, Mahalakshmi Multispeciality Hospital began as a small clinic with 2–3 beds and an ultrasound machine behind the Ulundurpet bus stand. As patient numbers grew, the hospital relocated to a larger facility opposite the Government Hospital, expanding to 15 beds with added services like laparoscopy, endoscopy, a labour ward, and an operation theatre.
Over the years, we evolved into a full-fledged multispecialty hospital offering Neurology, Orthopaedics, Pediatrics, ENT, Cardiology, Physiotherapy, and Cosmetology. We were the first in the region to introduce EATEL Ultrasound and Siemens 32-slice CT Scan, serving patients within a 40–50 km radius.
In December 2023, we became a 50-bedded approved facility with modern OTs, C-ARM, advanced GE USG, 24×7 emergency care, ambulance, pharmacy, and digital diagnostics. With 10,000+ hysterectomies, 5,000 deliveries, and advanced fertility treatments, we’ve transformed rural healthcare. Today, Mahalakshmi Hospital is Ulundurpet’s symbol of trust, quality, and medical excellence.
